Great video! Narrative focus is where this game shines. Perhaps next time the survivor has to escape the depths now that the defenses have activated behind them?

If you'd like rules references for your questions that came up, here you go, and if not, ignore the rest of this and have a lovely day! * Master Adversaries do get to make the Endurance-test-to-not-die thing, mentioned (in a kinda weird way) on pg. 38 of the Revised Rulebook PDF. * Intimidation lets you spend an action to gain Terrifying, which makes models without it have to do Morale tests (pg. 46). Useful for engaging Terrifying enemies or scaring minions away! * You're right about the Fleet Beasts, as part of their racial rules, all Beasts get the Fleet keyword and have a base move of 9". It's on pg. 104

Hi, just learning the game and came across these tutorials which is a great help. Not sure if this will be seen but have a question. I thought using an expertise action such as lock pick or terminal hack counts as one of your actions. Im sure a couple of times a model performed 2 move actions to get into base to base with a searchable then did the expertise action (3rd action) in the same turn. Is this allowed? Have I misunderstood the rules?

Great battle report, really enjoy your work! I agree that the Merciless Merc is generally an improvement over original Crossbones, but there are a few advantages to the old one. He's more mobile, since his spender is range 3 and has a place within 1. His damage reduction is paid, but has no minimum. He can double activate with Sin (though that would require you to play Sin). And he can play Illicit Tech. Since it refers to the character name, Crossbones, Merciless Merc can't play it.

7:10 why would Fecula use Stream of Corruption when she can bash with her Rootwood Staff? Doesnt make much sense?

Really dig the narrative style and the gameplay on this one. Fun watch, got about 75% through it this morning then had to work. The wait to see how it ended was killin me.

Forgot to say, personally I’m good with “shaky cam”, 😜. In all seriousness it makes the video feel more dynamic. I understand that comes at the expense of you tying down one of your arms, but static to me just feels less engaging, unless your cutting to different views often. For example, watching a 2 person Batrep on MCP or Legion, if the camera is just hanging over the table for the entire video….I can’t watch it…period. It is so incredibly boring to me. But if one player is holding the camera zooming in on the action per turn, I feel more engaged. Just my 2 cents.
